Bethanie, Western Australia’s leading not for profit aged
care and retirement living provider, has been warmly welcoming and
caring for seniors for over 65 years. We strive to lead the change
in the way Australians think about ageing, recognising ‘old
age’ as a positive force in society and giving a voice to
those who have seen it all and live to tell the tale.

We are seeking a highly organised Administration Officer to join
the team at Bethanie Elanora Aged Care Home in Bunbury on a
permanent part time basis, working 15-20 hours per week. Bethanie
Elanora is an 81 bed facility located close to the beach, offering
comfortable and happy living as well as some of the best aged care
facilities in the area.

The role of Administration Officer offers diversity in daily
tasks and lots of challenges, therefore we are looking for a
‘go-getter’ with a passion for customer service and a
‘can do’ attitude. You will have highly tuned
administration skills along with a genuine interest or experience
in the aged care industry.

To be successful in this role, you must have sound knowledge of
complex rostering systems, have experience working in an aged care
or hospital based environment, and competent computer skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide a customer-focused service for employees,
residents, visitors and suppliers

Assist in the collection and recording of resident
information related to expressions of interest for admission to
the aged care facility

Ensure rostering and payroll information for all employees
are accurately prepared and entered into the database in a
timely and accurate manner

Ensure accounts payable and receivable are processed
accurately and in a timely manner

Assist with all enquiries from families in regards

Ensure all queries are answered and / or allocated to
responsible persons

Demonstrated experience within a busy administrative
position, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar

High level of attention to detail, with the ability to
learn new processes and software quickly

Demonstrated sound knowledge of complex rostering

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a
