About the Role

As a MultiLink Support Worker, you'll be an integral part of the lives of people of all ages and backgrounds. You will be part of people's lives, professionally assisting them with community access, movement, domestic duties, mealtime support, bedtime support, medication administration and support with personal care.

Selection Criteria

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support and associated medication assistance modules completed
  • Senior First Aid Certificate including CPR
  • At least 2 years paid work experience as a Support Worker (experience working with participants who have high and complex needs will be highly regarded)
  • Current First Aid Certificate and CPR, or willing to obtain one
  • Demonstrated belief in an inclusive society and value client focus, respect, inclusion, integrity, excellence and courage
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with a range of people from diverse language, faith and cultural backgrounds
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable and the Capacity to work flexible hours on a roster system

 Other Requirements

  • Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance
  • Current Influenza Vaccination record required for working in residential facilities

 Successful applicants will be required to possess:

  • Current Working with Children (Blue Card) 
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or Disability Services (Yellow Card Exemption)
  • National Police Check (undertaken within the last 2 years)
  • Current Queensland “C” class driver’s license, with a good driving record.
  • Rights to work in Australia evidence.
